Now with an optional kit of 3 shims that perfectly match the shape of the back of the pedal. Stacking the 3 shims allows for 6 other possible configurations, increasing the height of the pedal from 11mm to 16mm!

Overall, the product itself was good, but the purchasing experience became unnecessarily frustrating. I was asked to move the purchase off Etsy, dealt with payment and discount code issues, unexpected shipping/import fees after checkout, and eventually had FedEx holding unrelated deliveries until the invoice was paid. While the seller explained the customs situation afterward, there was little effort made to resolve the customer experience or offer any goodwill adjustment despite the complications. End result was significantly more expensive and stressful than originally presented.

Regarding international orders: import duties, VAT, and customs fees are legally levied by the destination country’s government and carrier (FedEx), not the seller. As outlined in standard shop policies, buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that apply to their country. Sellers cannot pay a customer’s personal government import taxes or alter official customs declarations.
While I understand that unexpected government customs fees can be frustrating, expecting the seller to absorb personal import taxes after delivery is not something small business owners can accommodate.
